The pancreas is located in the abdomen, partly behind the stomach and duodenum. Pancreatic cancer is when there is a tumor in the pancreas. Pancreatic cancer is about the same in men as in women. Usually, pancreatic cancer spreads to the liver, lymph nodes, lungs, bones, or abdominal cavity.
